The Ortocanis Canine Elbow Orthosis is a dual (Right & Left), externally applied device, designed to control biomechanical alignment, correct or accommodate deformity and protect and support an injury. It is a support which can improve the mobility of dogs that suffer with Arthritic and Osteoarthritic conditions. This brace is used for the treatment of Hygromas, Bursitis, Calluses, Decubitus Ulcers (Pressure Sores), Elbow Dysplasia, Osteoarthritis, Swelling and Limps (that cause pain to so many dogs), both as a preventative measure or recovery following surgery/treatment. The extra thick, support pad protects the foreleg from impacts, reduces pain, softens Calluses and improves movement.

These Canine limb products are designed to provide the appropriate support, without impeding essential, natural movement and are frequently recommended by Vets and other medical practitioners.

Sizing is determined by measuring the circumference around the point of the dog's elbows 

Follow these instructions to select the size:

• 1. Take a sewing tape, or a tape measure and string.
• 2. Measure the contour of elbow  (please follow measure n. 2 in the image above)
• 3. Look at the below sizes to find the size corresponding to the measurement you have taken
• If in doubt between two sizes, select the bigger one.

X Small (7.5 -11.5cm),
Small (11.6 - 16cm),
Medium (16.1- 20.5cm)
Large (20.6 - 25 cm) & X-Large (25.1 - 32cm)

PLEASE NOTE: It recommended to use these items when the dog is standing or normal walking, not during strenuous physical exercise (eg. competition).
